Now that we’ve been given permission to ride on our neighbor’s property it made sense to cut a dedicated trail through the woods.
It was a perfect opportunity to use the mini-excavator’s dozer blade to clear the underbrush and expose the ground underneath.
I was amazed at how little work I ended up needing to do to clean it up. Even after a first pass the trail was starting to look like it had been there and used.
To put on the finishing touches I thought it would be fun ride Minka on the trail and remove the overhanging limbs. A friend of mine had sent me a video of her doing this earlier this year and now it was my turn. To my delight Minka was relaxed and seemed used to the job.
